Great yoga teachers do more than lead a class. They pay attention, offer options, explain the why behind the practice, and create an environment where you can feel comfortable trying something new.
Our teachers come from different backgrounds and bring different styles to the studio. What we all share is a commitment to thoughtful teaching, continued learning, and creating classes where you can move, learn, and feel supported.

Alex Dull
The brains behind Middle River Yoga - Alex is inspired to help others experience peace and feel at home in their bodies. She traveled to Costa Rica in 2016 to begin her journey as a lifelong student of Yoga and has been teaching in the Baltimore area since. She is also a Massage Therapist who understands the innate need for movement & touch. Yoga is a lifestyle practice that goes far beyond the mat and is available to everyone despite any life circumstance. Alex is honored to be a guide for others on the journey. When she’s not teaching, studying, practicing or working, she finds great joy in being close to the water, exploring new & familiar places, eating delicious food, dancing to good music, and enjoying life with people she loves.

Magnolia aka Nolie
Magnolia, lovingly known as Nolie, is Middle River Yoga’s unofficial greeter and resident yoga practitioner. This sweet Portuguese Water Dog can often be found at the studio when Alex is teaching, quietly observing class, offering calm companionship, and reminding everyone not to take life too seriously. As a hypoallergenic pup, she’s able to share the studio with most of our community and absolutely loves being part of it all. When she’s not at the studio, Nolie enjoys living her best Chesapeake life—running through the woods with friends, swimming in the bay, and relaxing at home with her parents.

Grace Marshall
Grace (she/they) started teaching because they wanted to co-create space for community to feel the magic that happens when our embodiment is empowered by our breath; this inclination has blossomed into a long term commitment to guiding compassionate space for self regulation. Grace loves to center the nervous system during movement and offer trauma informed instruction. Off the mat, they love to paint with bright colors, play bass, and do crossword puzzles.

Corinne Matti
Meet Corinne Matti, a yoga teacher with a knack for blending ancient wisdom with modern vibes. Teaching since 2016, Corinne's classes range from fiery power flows to the calming embrace of yin yoga. Her passion for wellness and holistic healing led her to Kerala, India, where she taught and learned Ayurvedic yoga and massage traditions. Corinne’s teaching style is inclusive, playful, and deeply rooted in helping students connect mind, body, and spirit. Whether you're a beginner finding your flow or an experienced yogi exploring chakra alignment, Corinne’s classes offer something for everyone—plus a few laughs along the way. Audrey Bell
Audrey began practicing yoga in 2016 when she was 12 years old and, wanting to learn more, she started to practice regularly wherever and whenever she had the space and time. In order to spread her love of yoga, she pushed herself to become an RYT200, graduating from Yoga Centric's teacher training program in 2022. She has a passion for helping others live their happiest lives through food, movement, books, and time in nature.
